The Bridge over the Cadal Channel, in Soyo, is part of the global project named "Cadal Channel Bridge and Associated Roads", which allows an alternative access to the ALNG's Kwanda Base, located on the north bank of the channel and bypassing the city of Soyo. The new motorway also connects, in the southern bank, to the Quintambe Road.

The bridge is 525m long, distributed over the following spans: 20.5m + 22x22.0m + 20.5m.

Due to the existing constructive constraints over the channel, the contractor decided for the maximization of prefabricated elements. The bridge deck consists of four pre-stressed, precast concrete I-section girders (made in Portugal) with a height of h=1.20m. The deck was cast-in-place over pre-cast slabs.

The foundations are indirect following a pier-pile solution. The piles have 1.20m diameter and the maximum depth reached was 42m.

The access road has a total length of about 7200m.
